Francesco Guccione's wines first touched us many years ago.

There is a soul to his wines that have expressed themselves beautifully each time, whether it be his rich reds like Nerello Mascalese or the somewhat forgotten grape Perricone to his stunning, rounded whites like his excellent value Trebbiano or slighter more mineralic Caterratto.

Whilst we knew we all loved the wines... visiting Francesco was an even more heartfelt experience as we learnt more of his biodynamic and low-intervention winemaking, and saw firsthand his love for animals.
