Navarra | Natural Wine from Navarra
In regards to Natural Wine, Navarra is not super well established, but is changing...
This province is in the north of Spain bordering the Basque country, La Rioja and Aragon. Very famous for its rosé wines, Navarra is also home to regional grapes such as Moscatel de Grano Menudo or Mazuelo. Popular natural wine producers are Azul y Garanza and Viña Zorzal.
The region is famous for its unique tradition of "txakoli," a sparkling wine made from indigenous white grapes. Additionally, Navarra is the only Spanish wine region that officially recognises the blending of red and white grapes, which adds an interesting dimension to its wine production.
