Nitra is a region located in the western part of Slovakia, nestled among the picturesque landscapes. In respect to Natural Wine, the region is best known as the home to Strekov 1075, who is a pioner ofr Natural Wine in Slovakia. Other producers in the region include Kasnyik who are based in the same village of Strekov.
Notable wine grapes include Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Frankovka, and Veltlínske Zelené, but you can also find Pinot Noir,
Dunaj, Alibernet amongst others.
