Carignan is a red wine grape that is widely grown in several important wine regions around the world. It is primarily cultivated in France, particularly in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, where it is one of the most widely planted grape varieties. Carignan is also grown in Spain, particularly in the regions of Catalonia and Rioja, as well as in California and Chile.
This grape is known for producing wines with intense flavors and deep color. It is often used as a blending grape to add structure and complexity to other varietals, such as Grenache and Syrah. Carignan wines are typically full-bodied with robust tannins and a rich, dark fruit profile. They often exhibit notes of blackberry, black cherry, and plum, with hints of spice and earthiness.
They give you crap wines that are often their stock not selling and have nothing to do your wine style. We’re gonna change that. We’ve created a club with three tiers, that is actually curated and ideal for the type of wine drinker you are.
