Friuli | Natural Wine from Friuli

In regards to Natural Wine, Friuli aka Friuli-Venezia Giulia, is one of the most important regions in Italy. This is the region which is home to pioneers such as Radikon and Gravner, who were the first to bring Amphora vessels from Georgia and combine with skin-contact maceration to completetly offer a new style of wine to Italy.

Friuli is located in northeastern Italy, nestled between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea. The Friuli region is home to an array of indigenous grape varieties, including Friulano (aka Sauvignon Vert or Tokaj, often called Jakot due to EU laws protecting Hungarian Tokaji sweet wine...), Ribolla Gialla, and Refosco.
