Muschelkalk Weissburgunder 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Hannes Bergdoll, in the Pfalz region in Germany

This white wine is made with Pinot Blanc grapes, which are grown on shell limestone soils (called Muschelkalk in German).

This wine seriously impressed us at a winefair tasting, because it is slightly oxidative and that gave it a lot of character, especially amongst slightly salty touches coming through as well. For sure a wine which will impress at the dinner table. Very happy to have this one in the range!

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

Hannes released his very first vintage in 2016, producing just 5000 bottles and has since adjusted his winemaking a lot, and now farms with holistic practices and experiements with oxidative wine techniques (see his Roter Traminer Sous Voile). We find the quality and pricepoint balance absolutely perfect and super excited to have his wines for you here on MORE Natural Wine.
