Chateau de la Jaubertie is a wine estate in Bergerac, a wine region next to Bordeaux in France. This domain tends to make more classic wines, but have a natural wine range they call Les Cèpages Oubliès which feature no added sulphites and are certified 'Vin Nature'.
Expect lower acidity, full bodied mouthfeel in the still wines which are excellent value for being on the budget side of natural wine. The Pet Nat "Joe and Bertie" has a nice bitter tough that keep it lively!
Their white grape varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Muscadelle, Chardonnay, and, more recently, Chenin Blanc. For red grape varieties, they cultivate Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with two historic south-western grapes: Mérille and Fer Servadou.
