Hannes Bergdoll wine

In our opinion, Hannes Bergdoll is one of the most underrated, underdiscovered producers in Germany right now. Whilst he is on the cusp of many Somm’s lips, his wines have not really broken through to the masses and as an importer of his wines ourselves, we kinda like being one of the first to know… but we are sure it won’t be so secret for long. All of his wines are remarkable from the entry level Rieslings to the special Chardonnays and Weissburgunders... Even his Sauvignon Blanc impresses beyond others in Germany we have experienced (and this is a grape we find does not shine in the country at all really). 

 We really do admire his work very much, which is coupled by his very humble attitude and desire to stay out of the limelight, away from hype and noise. The vineyard is truly his preferred environment.
