Production details of Freundschaft Rot: Freundschaft Rot is a juicy social red made by Max Baumann at Max sein Wein in Dertingen, Baden, Germany. The blend is Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir from his 3.5 hectares of family land. Max ages his wines 9 to 10 months in old barrels and a further 6 months in bottle before release. 11.5% alcohol, no added sulphur.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Freundschaft Rot by Max sein Wein, but we hear it has notes of fresh red cherry, raspberry, soft spice and a light easy texture.
