Mar i Muntanya Rouge 2022

Mar i Muntanya Rouge 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Domaine de L'Horizon, in the Calce region in France, which is close to Domaine Matassa. This red wine is made with 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache grapes.

We hear from the importer that it is dark purple with violet reflections and being aged in concrete and steel, the Mar i Muntanya is a reminiscence of Beaujolais: juicy and boozy with bright fruit, the fine slate spice of Roussillon and the terroir of Calce.

A small amount of whole-cluster fermentation underlines the jovial fruit of black cherries, mulberries and hibiscus.
