This Voria Pet Nat Bianco from Porta Del Vento is FANTASTIC!
Made on the top of a windy mountain which keeps the vines cooler than many other places in Sicily, (Porta Del Vento means "door of the wind"), this delightful Pet Nat sparkling wine is easy-going, fresh, salty, citrussy and with a nice mineral touch.
Ideal for the sun, we found this Catarratto wine has a nice salinity running through it alongside hints of wet pebble, lemon rind, mild meadow flowers, hints of subtle melon and vanilla essence. WE LOVE IT!
Voria Bianco is a perfect pet-nat for hot afternoons, especially considering the excellent value!
