Rubra Corona 2024 is a natural red wine crafted by Dluhe Grefty, in the Moravia region in Czech Republic. This 12.5% red wine grown on hills of Muténice is made with 100% Blaufränkisch, which is aged for 18 months in a 600l barrel.

This is incredible value! Rich, bold but easy to drink. Earthy, a touch smokey and with hints of iron, blackberries and baked apple. Soft tannins that really are very mild and caress. A delight from start to finish… and makes us crave a nice duck breast with root vegetables

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

NATURAL WINES BY DLUHE GREFTY

Dluhe Grefty is Jaroslav Tesařík and his family in Mutěnice, southern Moravia. The name means roughly 'long vineyard rows' in the old local dialect. Jaroslav works as an IT engineer, and his wife Pavlína and their children help in the vineyard and inspire the labels. They farm small plots on loess and clay, some vines up to 80 years old, and began selling wine with the 2015 vintage.

Almost everything is done by hand. Ferments are wild, many whites see skin contact, the wines age in old 225 and 400 litre oak barrels, sulphur is used only occasionally, and everything is closed with a crown cap. We import these ourselves. Try Alba Mixtura, the Gewürztraminer orange Alba Rosales, the Pinot Gris Eva, the light red Rufus or the Helena pét-nat.
