La Sorga is a cult winery from Languedoc run by Antony Tortul, who makes some raw, energetic expressions mostly from purchased grapes. He started out as a négociant winemaker buying grapes from trusted growers to make his wines, but also now has some of his own. La Sorga's Antony Tortul is well known for being one of the original founders of the Brutal!!! wine series alongside the producers of Escoda Sanuhuja, Mendall and Rémi Pujol. La Sorga wines can be pretty wild and punk rock, but less volatile in acidity than in previous years. Full of energy and expression, these wines really do have a La Sorga signature taste to them, and some can be quite tannic in expression (with most grapes coming from his base in Languedoc). All La Sorga wines have no added Sulphites.
