Alba Tilia 2024 is a natural white wine crafted by small family winery Dluhe Grefty, in the Moravia region in Czech Republic.

Tasting Alba Tilia

This white wine is made with 100% Riesling grapes, but you would never guess it! It features a slightly salty and savoury touch that would make it work amazing with light vegetal dinners, salads and more. However, it also comes armed with a vanilla milkshake nose and hints of mint and cream on the palate with a herbal edge. Very cool!

WE LOVE THIS WINE!

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

NATURAL WINES BY DLUHE GREFTY

Dluhe Grefty is Jaroslav Tesařík and his family in Mutěnice, southern Moravia. The name means roughly 'long vineyard rows' in the old local dialect. Jaroslav works as an IT engineer, and his wife Pavlína and their children help in the vineyard and inspire the labels. They farm small plots on loess and clay, some vines up to 80 years old, and began selling wine with the 2015 vintage.

Almost everything is done by hand. Ferments are wild, many whites see skin contact, the wines age in old 225 and 400 litre oak barrels, sulphur is used only occasionally, and everything is closed with a crown cap. We import these ourselves. Try Alba Mixtura, the Gewürztraminer orange Alba Rosales, the Pinot Gris Eva, the light red Rufus or the Helena pét-nat.
