Whilst we have not yet tried this exact vintage of Ancura na vota 2023, we hear it has notes of bright red cherry, wild herbs, and fresh cranberry on the nose, complemented by subtle hints of earthy minerality. The palate is said to be lively and vibrant, with flavors of tart raspberry, delicate floral nuances, and a touch of bright acidity giving it a refreshing and balanced finish.

NATURAL WINES BY CARUSSIN

Carussin is the family of Luigi Garberoglio, Bruna Ferro and their sons Luca and Matteo in Asti, Piedmont. As well as wine they brew beer and raise donkeys, which you will spot on some of the labels. Barbera is the main grape, with some Moscato, and the range goes from easy Asinoi and Completo, including big boxes, to serious Barbera d'Asti like La Tranquilla.
