L'Eruption 2022 by Domaine Des Trouilleres is a natural wine made in Auvergne with Gamay grapes.

Production details of L'Eruption: L'Eruption is 100% Gamay from Camille and Mikaël Hyvert at Domaine des Trouillères in Auvergne. The grapes grow at 450m on basalt soils dating from the area's volcanic era. Two weeks of semi-carbonic maceration, then 6 months in stoneware vessels. No sulphur during vinification, only a small amount at bottling. Lunar-calendar farming.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of L'Eruption by Domaine des Trouillères, but we hear it has notes of deep black fruit, smoke, light pepper, anise and an earthy lift from the stoneware ageing.
