Milan Nestarec is one of the Czech Republic's most sought-after Natural Wine producers.
With a wide range of wines to try, often with comical names, this young producer is based just 15km from the Austrian border and maintains around 10 hectares.
As Milan Nestarec states on his website: This TRBLMKR wine is my long-standing mission to find and showcase the true identity of Neuburger in our area. Once a traditional local grape, it is now getting rarer, as it can beautifully express its place, but doesn’t like modern winemaking.
Its understated personality gets hidden by more flamboyant varieties very quickly, so many winemakers opted out of it. Not me: I enjoy how Neuburger requires us to focus and listen, growers and drinkers alike. Dedicate enough time and space to this wine, it’s worth it.
