About Mayga from Clos Bateau

In Lantignié, at one of the higher parts (418m), the Gamay vines lives on a granite soil. We did a maceration of almost 2 weeks in concrete, after pressing we aged the wine on used barrel.

Mayga has a classic but rustic character and the typical Clos Bateau touch what we are known for. A wine you can drink in front of a fireplace during winter but also great to drink a bit chilled during summer.

Production of 2150 bottles

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
