Shadow Play Red 2022

Shadow Play Red 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Kamara Pure, in the Macedonia region in Greece. This red wine is made with Xinomavro grapes.

Kamara Pure Tasting notes: Rich light red colour, with complex aromas of small red fruits, vanilla, plums, tomato and black olive. Full-bodied with well integrated tannins and longlasting aftertaste.

History of the label: The label is a depiction of the greek traditional shadow theater, called Karagiozis, a representation of the Greek common people during the Ottoman rule. Despite it's simplicity, this shadow play managed to truthfully illustrate the different aspects of the society. The shadow play red, is a single variety wine, simple yet complex and authentic expression of the greek indigenous variety Xinomavro.
