Waiting for Tom Rot is a natural wine crafted by Rennersistas, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This red wine is made with Blaufränkisch, Pinot Noir and Zweigelt grapes.

Production details of Waiting for Tom Rot: Waiting for Tom Rot is made by Stefanie and Georg Renner at Rennersistas in Gols, Burgenland. The name is a nod to Tom Lubbe of Matassa and Tom Shobrook, who mentored the siblings in low-intervention winemaking. The blend is Blaufränkisch, Pinot Noir and Zweigelt. Roughly 2/3 of the grapes are destemmed and 1/3 whole-cluster, with a mix of direct-press lots and 3- to 9-day macerations, all fermented and aged in 225 to 500-litre used oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Waiting for Tom Rot by Rennersistas, but we hear it has notes of cassis, cherry, blackberry, fresh mint and a touch of liquorice.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
