Tasting Notes for Griso Pinot Ramato 2024 by Sassara

Notes of tart cherry, pepper, hibiscus, blood orange, and lively spice. This Ramato-style Pinot Grigio is fun but somewhat midly complex and nuanced, with a vibrant, fresh character and a distinctive copper hue from it's skin contact.

 It offers a mild grip, and an elegant, uplifting finish, making it a fun and joyful expression of Veneto Pinot Grigio which does not have too much acidity. Easy drinking and delicious!

This North Italian orange wine has a certain copper touch to it, as it is made with Pinot Grigio (aka Pinot Gris / Grauburgunder) which is actually pink skinned! It undergoes 12 days of skin-contact (maceration). It is aged in a stainless steel tank
