Lysegrøn No.8 by Christine and Franz Strohmeier is a natural wine made in Styria with Pinot Blanc grapes, aka Weissburgunder. The name Lys-grön comes from Danish and means 'light green'. Expect minerality and fine precision.

We have not yet tried this yet, but hear that, thanks to 12 months in oak barrels, the wine expresses the elegance and beautiful structure of the grape. Acidity and minerality, herbs and yellow fruit. A wine to try!

Christine & Franz Strohmeier, together with Styrian wine producers Taus, Tscheppe, Muster and Werlitsch, belong to the ‘Schmecke das Leben’ (‘Taste life’) group.
Their philosophy is about protecting the land, and making authentic and expressive natural wines that stay honest to their roots. It’s an invitation to slow down, share a glass, and truly enjoy the moment!

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
