Rosé Natúr 2021 by B.D Schmitt is a natural wine made in Rheinhessen with Merlot, Blaufrankisch and Pinot Noir, as a Saignèe Method. This Saignée method, which means 'to bleed' in French, is when the grapes are not pressed in a typical gentle Rosé style, but instead a portion of their red wine is taken away (or bled away) just after pressing, before it has had enough time to turn red on the skins, thus making it a Rosé with a little more character and soul
