Piripi Ancestral

Piripi Ancestral is a natural wine crafted by Entre Vinyes, in the Catalonia region in Spain. This sparkling Pet Nat wine with a nice cork closure is made with Xarel-lo grapes. The wine spends 9 months resting on the lees in the bottle before disgorgement.

This one is very fresh and crisp!

Production details of Piripi Ancestral: Piripi Ancestral is made by Maria Barrena and Pep Tort Montserrat at Entre Vinyes in Penedès, Catalonia. The wine is 100% Xarel·lo, made by the ancestral method with the wine spending 9 months on its lees in bottle before disgorgement. Closed under cork. They farm using a lunar-calendar approach with permaculture principles.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Piripi Ancestral by Entre Vinyes, but we hear it has notes of green apple, citrus, white flower and a fine textured lees lift.
