Production details of Pinot Noir Dobre Minor: Pinot Noir Dobre Minor comes from Kamil Barczentewicz's vineyard in Dobre, Eastern Poland, planted in 2017 across 12 hectares of south-facing slopes near the Vistula River. The vines sit at around 200m elevation on limestone, marl and loess soils. The Pinot Noir is from German clones, fermented in open oak vats. Kamil trained at Bordeaux Sciences Agro and worked across Austria, Chile, Italy and France before returning home to Poland.
Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Pinot Noir Dobre Minor by Kamil Barczentewicz, but we hear it has notes of ripe cherry, blueberry, raspberry, wild rose and a hint of bay leaf.
