Claus Preisinger - GV ErDELuftGRAsundreBEN is a premium Grüner Veltiner from some of Claus Preisinger's best plots, and made with skin-contact. So this is an Orange wine, with herbal touches and nice minerality.

Too often Claus gets a bit bundled in as solely a budget producer, perhaps the popularity of his Puszta Libre is to blame for that but whilst we also adore that wine and others of his from a budget perspective…. Make no mistake - Claus Preisinger is a serious winemaker and his premium offering showcases the quality of his vines, terroir and of course winemaking in the cellar.

Claus Preisinger - ERDELUFTGRASUNDREBEN range

His ErDELuftGRAsundreBEN range is his premium range (earth, air, grass and vines) and are wines which will age well and are taken from distinct plots - this zero/zero wine is taken from the Edelgrund plot, although he is not allowed to write this on the label as his does not submit his wines for “Quality Tasting” in Austria… pfft. Some wine laws are silly.

However… perhaps you can notice that the BOLDED letters on the label actually spell out the location of the vineyard! Nicely done Claus…!
