Piripi 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Azul y Garanza , in the Navarra region in Spain. This red wine is made with Tempranillo grapes, and sees no added sulphites in its process of being made. It's great value, with a nose of black cherry and subtle rosemary.

A mineralic, almost iron rich sensation joins on the palette whilst persistent tannins make this Tempranillo have the finish you expect from the grape, whilst the mouthfeel is not so intense.

It is medium bodied in its presence and ticks the box for a great value Spanish red.

NATURAL WINES BY AZUL Y GARANZA

Azul y Garanza works on the edge of the Bardenas Reales semi-desert in Navarra, northern Spain, where harsh conditions give small crops of tiny, concentrated grapes. They plant native species, keep the vineyards small and protect the forest around them, because biodiversity makes the vines stronger. Maria Barrena, one of the founders, later started Entre Vinyes. Try the Naturaleza Salvaje red and white.
