Cannonau

Cannonau is a red wine grape that is primarily grown in the Mediterranean region. Whilst it is also known as Grenache in other parts of the world, in Sardinia, it is known as Cannonu.

Cannonau (or Grenache) is a versatile grape that thrives in warm climates, producing wines with rich flavors and high alcohol content.

Cannonau wines are often described as full-bodied and velvety, with a good balance of acidity and tannins. They can be enjoyed young, but also have great aging potential, developing more complexity and elegance over time.
