Portugieser
Portugieser is a very fruity red wine grape that is widely grown in several regions around the world. It is primarily cultivated in Austria, Germany, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. This grape is known for its versatility and ability to adapt to different climates and soil types.
Portugieser is not a very fashionable grape, as it is pretty much too fruity, however, this led to the idea from Vin de Lagamba to make her very popular Frauenpower red wine, which is a German style Lambrusco pet nat. At just 9.5% alcohol it works really well as a refreshing fruit fizz!
