Before moving to Jura, Jean-François worked in Burgundy, but it was in Jura where he and his wife, Anne, made their mark. In addition to his domain wines, Jean-François also produces négociant wines under the label "Anne and Jean-François Ganevat." These wines come from other growers' grapes and have distinct labels. Jean-François has mentored many up-and-coming winemakers over the years, with notable names like Katie Worobeck, Nicolas Jacob, and Alexandre Plassat having worked with him.
