Need some bigger bottles this Christmas? How about these three bangers:
Patrick Bouju - Mol Magnum
Mol Magnum is a natural wine crafted by Justine Loiseau & Patrick Bouju of Domaine la Bohemé, in the Auvergne region in France. This popular red wine is made with Merlot, Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Muscat and Gamay grapes. The Muscat blends in nicely with the heavier red grapes, lifting the profile.
Roca Viva - 4 Some 2021 Magnum
This introduction into the world of Roca Viva with 4some really is not an entry level wine, despite being more fresh and fun than their more serious wines, but daaaaamn is it good! It's a blend of both red and white grapes, and the grapes are used from each of their trusted growers in the area, so this is why the name is 4 Some.
Expect mineralic hits for a red, with an almost iron like quality popping besides black cherries, dark chocolate, smoke and soft vegetal touches and a tingly tannic mouthfeel. A VERY cool wine at a great pricepoint!
Porta del Vento - VORIA Rosato Magnum
Voria Rosato MAGNUM is a big bottle of Pet Nat made by Porta Del Vento, in the Sicily region in Italy. This sparkling wine is made with Perricone grapes, grown in Camporeale, high up on a hill where it is very windy. Porta Del Vento means "Door of the Wind" and having visited to film our short video documentary below... we can confirm this!
However, the windy conditions are perfect for making sparkling wine in Sicily, as the winds cool down the grapes from the hot sun at nighttime, preserving acidity which is essential for a good Pet Nat.
Please note, our fancy new cart system will only recognise this as one product, but it will qualify for 3 Magnum bottles towards your shipping, at official checkout.
