The Mosel is a wine region in western Germany, close to the border with Belgium, Luxembourg, and France. The Mosel region is mostly famous for its wines made from the Riesling grape, but Müller-Thurgau and Spätburgunder also contribute to production. Popular natural wine producers in this region are Staffelter Hof, Rudolf Trossen, and Philip Lardot.
