Widely regarded as a legend of the French natural wine scene, Patrick Bouju & his partner Justine Loiseau now manage around 5 hectares in Auvergne, France. Patrick and Justine, who make wine under the name 'Domaine la Bohème', also buy grapes from other growers to craft some of their wines (i.e. Negociant wines), in order to push their offering beyond their own vines. This is where the pair can get quite creative in their grape choices, showcasing lesser known grape varietals like Mondeuse & Altesse.
This Special "A La Natural 2016" Bouju Megabox does not only include two of their Domaine wines (Lulu and Cailloux) and two of their Negociant wines (G&M and CC), but also a very special, hard to get, 2016 vintage of Patrick's A la Natural wine, which he made in collaboration with Clovis Ochin and rapper Action Bronson, back in the day.
This is the original A La Natural, not the more produced 2017 vintage. It's a more serious blend of Gamay, Syrah and Pinot Noir which now with its aging in the bottle is an absolute joy to drink - full of Syrah complexities, but still with that Bouju drinkability. Amazing! ... and not found anywhere else anymore we can assure you!
We only have 12 of this special bottle, so you better be quick if you want to try it.
