La Via del Colle wine
La Via del Colle is a small, family-run natural wine estate from the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy. The family is run by twins Francesco and Chiara, who inherited the estate from their parents. La Vie del Colle is as passionate about honey as they are wine, and manage 300 bee hives alongside fruit orchards and vegetable plots for biodiversity.
With Francesco as head winemaker growing Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Moscato and lesser known graps Bombino bianco (Pagadebit) and Terrano (Cagnina), no added sulphur is used at any stage of the winemaking process, much of which is aged in amphora and terracotta jars. Popular orange wines of La Via del Colle include 'Lopi Orange' and 'Ultra'
