Pinot Blanc | Weissburgunder
Pinot Blanc is a white wine grape which is actually a mutation of Pinot Noir. Grown widely in wine regions across Europe, in Alsace it's used in Crémant d'Alsace and in Germany in Austria, varietals and blends are produced but using the name 'Weissburgunder'. Pinot Blanc wines are usually drunk young and exhibit higher acidity, floral characteristics, stone fruit, and nice minerality. Popular natural winemakers making good use of Pinot Blanc include Wasenhaus, Les Vins Pirouettes, Brand Bros, Dominik Held and Andi Weigand.
