Verdicchio
Verdicchio is a white wine grape that is primarily grown in the Marche region of central Italy. It is also cultivated in smaller quantities in neighboring regions such as Umbria and Abruzzo.
The grape itself has a thick skin and are often described as crisp and refreshing, with notes of green apple, lemon, and almond. They have a medium body and a good level of acidity, making them versatile and food-friendly.
