After taking over the winemaking process from his father in 2015, natural wine producer Andi Weigand has brought a breath of new school flavour to Franken. He delivers an collection of vibrant wines from many traditional varieties, made in some not-so-traditional ways. In 2018 he decided to make the switch to chemical-free farming and natural winemaking, and now he and his father work as a duo to create natural wines like MTH, Skin, and Amphora, which is made in Qvevri Amphora, a wine aging technique not too common to see amongst young German winemakers.
