Domaine de Sulauze
There is not a huge amount natural wine to be found in Provence. Amongst the armies of pale coloured Rosé all over the place and rather big, hearty red wines there is not many natural wine producers who have stood out.
Domaine de Sulauze are one that are making an impact. Growing grapes on limestone shells and sand with a reasonably-sized estate of 30 hectares, Domaine de Sulauze also farm barley for their beer, as well as olive groves and wheat for bread - so it’s quite an ambitious, Biodynamic project and run by a semi-youthful couple who started in 2004.
