ALESSANDRO VIOLA | Wine from Alcamo
Alessandro Viola (not to be confused with his nearby brother Aldo Viola) is a natural winemaker based in region of Alcamo, close to Palermo in Sicily. His refined whites are truly spectacular, with Catarratto and Grillo his specialities, but don't miss his wonderful Spumante Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine... which is perhaps the finest fizz in Sicily
The wines of Alessandro Viola are quite different to his brother Aldo Viola, partly due to a different style but also as the soil types are somewhat different being based on the other side of Alcamo. Popular wines include Note di Bianco, Le Mie Origini, Oxid Aging and Sinfonia di Bianco.Alessandro Viola 'Le Me Origini' wine
Growing elegant wines with Sicilian soul, one of his popular bottles include Le Me Origini - which we call 'Sicily in a Glass'. It's a delightful, floral and minerally driven white made with Catarratto, a regional grape.
