Chenin Blanc
Alongside Riesling and Savagnin, some consider Chenin Blanc the third star in the holy trinity of white varieties. Difficult to tame in the vineyard, Chenin rewards patient growers with a versatility that is unseen in other varieites. Searing acidity, delighfully aromatic and mysteriously complex make it one of the most prized varieties of the Loire and it's here you will it shining brightest, although some excellent winemakers in South Africa may disagree.
