Fred #11

Fred #11 is a natural wine crafted by Strekov 1075, in the Nitra region in Slovakia. This red wine is made with Blauer Portugieser, Alibernet and Dunaj grapes.

This Slovakian wine made with a blend of vintages is very concentrated and fruit forward, and has more tannins than the previous vintage, which become apparent after swallowing, almost like a second sensation that is quite cool.

Whilst fun and fruity, the tannins do make it more of a serious wine - but it's not a big wine, just not a glou glou as it sometimes is.

Expect notes of ripe plums, baked apple, blackberries and a hint of pepper and spice once it opens up a bit.
