Lafrea

Lafrea by Poderi Cellario is a fun, easy going natural wine made in the Langhe, a sub region of Piedmonte, Italy. 

La Favorita uses the grape Favorita, an old native grape variety of the Langa and Roero regions, well-adapted to poor, preferably sandy, soils. It was so named because it was once said to be a favored grape, particularly favored by King Vittorio Emanuele II. 

A straw-yellow wine, its bouquet is fruity and floral: hay, fresh flowers, and banana; on the palate, it is fresh and smooth, easy and unfussy
