Els Vinyerons is a natural wine project in Penedes of Catalonia, Spain making vibrant natural wines with no added sulphites, and at excellent prices too.
Their 'Pregadeu' Cava is a revelation, as there are not many people making natural Cava and this one really is the star of the show, full of green apples, pears and baked biscuit notes.
Likewise, their use of Xarel-lo is not bound to sparkling wine, as they showcase in the lovely, fresh and slightly creamy 'Lluerna' still wine. They are grow Tempranillo, known locally as Ull de Llebre, for their red wine 'Saltamarti'.
The winery is run by winemakers Amós Bañeres(who also has a solo project under his own name)and Alex Ruiz Masach
