Jean Christophe Garnier is a former sommelier who now makes his own wines in the Layon valley in the Loire region of France. The vines are up to 60 years old and are a mix of Cabernet Franc, Grolleau, Gamay, and Pineau d’Aunis. His wines are not only distinct due to the unique terroir of the Layon valley, but they can also have a delicate oxidative quality that adds to their complexity. Popular wines from Jean Christophe Garnier include Bezigon and "Les Tailles" Rouge.
