Quinto Quarto Bianco

Our supplier of Franco Terpin's Quinto Quarto Bianco says the little orange wine from Franco Terpin is a little different every year. Depending on how the harvest turns out, Franco takes a few grapes from this or that grape variety - but the process always remains the same: fermentation on the skins for about a week, then it is pressed and remains in stainless steel for 8 months before it goes to the bottle.

Despite the rather flexible handling of the grape varieties, the style of the Quinto Quarto Bianco is surprisingly coherent year after year. It's always bright and juicy, with just enough skin contact to add a bit of texture and enough trub to add a bit of density. Aromatically, it tends towards fresh tropical fruits, but never overripe or sweet, but always animating.
