Penèdes | Natural Wine from Penèdes

The Penedès region, located in Catalonia, Spain, is a growing destination for natural wine producers to establish themselves. Situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Montserrat mountain range, the region benefits from a unique microclimate that provides the perfect conditions for grape cultivation.

Grapes such as Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada dominate the production of sparkling Cava wines in the Penedès region. Additionally, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon are widely grown for the production of red wines, but natural wine producers often choose to focus on forgotten grapes
