Here's a reality of the wine business.
Very rare “unicorn wines” from hot natural wine producers venture into the fine wine realm of auctions and over-pricing of shops, when the price of the wine actually costs not very much at all from the domain. Essentially, demand outweighs supply, and the prices become crazy.
These Jura wines from legend Pierre Overnoy & Emmanuel Houillon are highly sought after, and often sell for hugely inflated prices, which means they are reserved for those who not only have access to them, but have big pockets too.
These Overnoy-Houillon wines are actually very fairly priced for friends and importers at the domain (if you can find any for sale, there are not many!) or directly allocated to suppliers, but they are so hard to find that the prices you will see them for can often become overwhelming.
We want to change that in a small way, and so after what feels like a lifetime searching, we got our hands on three Pierre Overnoy wines....and rather than profit from them, we want to give them away!
So, we are GIVING AWAY FOUR PIERRE OVERNOY WINES - sadly often found for between 400-600 euros on the secondary market, which we find sad for the Houillon-Overnoy family and so, we want to instead give them away rather than sell them.
