Robert Osička | Moravia Natural Wine

Everything Robert Osička sends us is sparkling, made by the traditional method with the second fermentation in the bottle, under his Punkista label in South Moravia. He is a punk and Sex Pistols fan, and the eldest son of Czech natural winemaker Jaroslav Osička, who pushed him towards farming his vineyards sustainably.

Punkista 'Vavřinec Brut' 2018 is 100% Czech Saint Laurent, rosé in colour, with mulberries, oxidised apples and cherries over a yeasty base. Punkista 'Veltín + Sauvignon' 2018 is a 50:50 blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Grüner Veltliner from vines over 30 years old on loess soils. There is a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Brut too.
