Sylvaner 2022 (Oxidative)

Sylvaner 2022 (Oxidative) * is a natural wine crafted by Bidule, in Moravia in the Czech Republic. This oxidative white wine is made with 100% Silvaner grapes and smells like a bonfire! Lots of smoke, ash, pastry, raisin, preserved lemon, bruised pears. Really cool!!!

How is Bidule Sylvaner made?

Fermented and aged only in barrels, racked once and then bottled straight from the barrel. The wine is intentionally given air along the way, which gives it the smoky, pastry and dried-fruit side, and it finishes with a salty minerality. At 14% it has real weight.

Bidule is the project of Zdeněk Omasta, based in Modřice just south of Brno in Moravia.
