Chona's Marani | Georgian wine
Georgian natural wine producer Chona Marani’s vineyards have a total area of two hectares which are located a few kilometers out of town in the village of Kurdgelauri, 550 above sea level. This is the western region of Georgia, and here the soil from winemaker Mikheil Chonishvili consists of mineral clay and is extremely valuable, with the vineyards are located in the protected region of Tsinandali.
Popular Chona Marani wines include his Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane. Expect bigger tannins if drinking now, and serve these Chona Marani wines at room temperature, not chilled.
